Dear Bourgade Family, My name is Nathan Prenovost, and I am a Alumni of the class of 2007. I would like to share some my experiences while attending Bourgade Catholic High School. First off, I want to say thank you for molding me into the man that I have become today. Bourgade Catholic has given me the foundation that I need to further my education in college, and become a successful leader in life. During my career at Bourgade Catholic, I have experienced some of the best times of my life. This school has left me with memories that I will cherish forever. When I stepped onto the campus my freshman year, I did not know what the future had in store for me. Now, as I look back, I would not trade it for the world. The teachers that I have met and the friends that will be here for me for the rest of my life are something that has helped me grow as a person. Bourgade Catholic has opened the door into the world of the opportunity and helped me develop myself into a respectable young man, physically, mentally, and most of all spiritually. At the beginning of my freshman year, my father told me the best way to enjoy high school years was by getting involved. To tell you the truth, I did my best to associate myself with every possible aspect of Bourgade Catholic while doing it to the best of my ability. The various clubs I have been a part of happen to be SADD, Blood Drive, Earth Watch, Letter Club, and Student Council. While participating in these clubs, I have held various positions, such as Student Body Parliamentarian, Student Body Vice President, along with the letter club President as well. I have learned many life lessons while being involved in these different organizations. I have also done many different charitable deeds to further my involvement at Bourgade Catholic. For instance, The Bourgade Catholic Golf Tournament, serving for four years at the Quest for Excellence Auction, and setting up the scoreboards for the football, baseball, and the softball fields. Plus, during my time with Student Council this year and last year, I have helped display the Bourgade Catholic environment through the 8th Grade Days, Student leadership Days, and Jr. High dances for incoming freshman. Not only was I leader during school, but after school as well with my extracurricular activities. I was one of the four captains for the 2006 football team. My teammates looked up to me, not only because of my leadership skills, but my actions on the field. I was a positive presence on both the football field and track teams. I am truly thankful for what Bourgade Catholic has given me. It allowed me to show off my true self. I can never repay Bourgade Catholic for the various opportunities that I have received, but I can only hope to see more students get the opportunities that have been given to me. I wish the best for students who partake in the Bourgade Catholic experience. There will always be a place in my heart for the Bourgade Catholic Community, and I wish the best fro the students and their futures. Thank You, and God Bless Nathan Prenovost
